While we were there my husband David and two kids Jayden and Aymee met David and Mitch who were staying in the caravan opposite us.

As you could imagine over 9 months its hard to keep motivated but I had a good collection of 4wd dvds including
the entertaining Gall boys collection to keep me going.
I couldn’t count how many times those videos were played while I counted down the days to my own trip back in Oz.

Dear Barry, Dave & Gall crew,
I purchased your adventure DVD's for hubby and I have to say that is the best $100 bucks I have ever spent on a Christmas present.
Following Xmas lunch, hubby, daughter and I sat down to watch one of the DVD's, then another and then another. Next morning, Boxing Day, we watched another 3 just to see what you lot got up to next instead of the Boxing Day Test, you had us hooked.  We were in fits of laughter at the antics, the tricks, the flared tempers, having experienced much the same on our own camping trips thru the centre, NT & Kimberley. We were on the edge of our seats with some of the predicaments you got into - we are not that adventurous. We have enjoyed the dvds so much we are lending them to our camping pals as well for their enjoyment. Our next big trip is to QLD and Coburg Peninsula, a dream of the past 5 years.

We cant wait to see the new DVD that will be out in March. Keep on travelling and keep on filming, it is so entertaining and keeps us all hun gry to get out there on our own next adventure.

Firstly I would just like to say I have only learnt about the existence of ' The Gall Boys' just recently through a friend who lent us a DVD of your FNQ Adventure and my hubby & I loved it !
We have never had an interest in caravaning or camping or such but we sure did enjoy watching the nail bitting adventures that the Gall boys take on!

Your last run looks like it was a ripper of a trip! Can't wait to watch the DVD. I actually just finished re-watching the Circle The Gulf DVD and looking at the recent photos, the Kedron has come a long way.

Hi All, I have just bought the all series of your DVDs. I just cannot stop watching the advantures. We have been camping for very long time bought our camper last month and cannot wait to go north. I have a question. I love fishing and I was wondering if you would give me the names of the lures you have used for the bara, mackerel, baracuda trevally..I have looked on the net but too many choices. Also could you let me know when your 2010 advanture dvd will be ready for purchase.

What a tremendous lot of 7 videos boys, so interesting, brilliant photography and plenty of fun, excitement and even with the old boy thrown in, made such good fun to all to watch and enjoy. All four wheel drivers, who enjoy this wonderful country of ours Australia, and its coastline, should get in early, and have a look at your tours, which will bring delight to all with your Aussie accent, humour and fun. The places you take your vehicles and caravans is really staggering.
In the early 70's I drove Fraser Island with the first Range Rover that ever hit the shore there,and we drove it from the point to the cape,and the experiences that myself and a team of Coffs Harbour and Dorrigo blokes,had to be seen to be believed.And fish.....well tailor up to 13 lb., whiting galore, bream, monster flathead and good drinking at the end of each day. Now from the early 70's i am in my early 70's, and to conclude wish i was 'Rugged not Bugged', otherwise I would be looking for a trip on the next tour you make.

 I recently gave all your dvds to my Dad for his birthday I have sat down and watched some of them with him and I just wanted to say how fantastic they are, you guys do a great job. Last year we went on a two week trip from North East Victoria where we live  in to South Australia and along the Birdsville track to Birdsville then across to Isisford and up to Longreach. This was the first time I had been on a trip like this and watching your dvds makes me want to pack up and go again.
I have seen so many beautiful places on your dvds that I want to go to.

Now, we have the first snow and it is so cold outside (ca. - 5° C). At this moment it is good to have nice DVDs from Australia and I can dream a little bit from the sun. The first DVD I looked was the one from Fraser Island. I love the Island and I love 4WD. Here we must drive in the snow but it is a similar feeling as to drive in the sand.

Dear Glen, I just felt I needed to email you. I bought these DVD's for my husband for his birthday not really having any interest in them myself but from the minute he plugged the first one in til, with sadness, we watched the last one, I was hooked. I laughed with you guys, you had me sitting on the edge of my seat watching some of the predicaments you put that caravan through and I nearly cried watching the fish hook get pulled out. Thanks for your very entertaining DVDs.  A close friend of ours, who we consider a Gall Boys groupie, has just lent them to us. 
In 2006 my husband and I sold up, took our son out of school and travelled right round this fantastic country of ours. 
It was the journey of a lifetime, but we hope to do it again once our son is 'off our hands'! 
I love watching your videos and reliving some of the places we've been.
We're just starting to plan a trip to the top end with a group of others for some time.
In the meantime we'll just have to keep watching your adventures!

We only wished that we had travelled it with you all. one word of advice, listen to your "Dad". Guys,  Great dvd's.  Brilliant.  I've just finishing watching the set after putting it off, for a few weeks, until I got back to work in Brazil.  I was meaning to spread watching them over a couple of weeks, but couldn't help watching them all in the first week!  The out takes are some of the funniest things I've seen on the telly.  Your old man refusing the beer had me in stitches.

Hey Guys  Just wanting to let you know that we saw your stand down at 4x4 caravan and camping show in Sydney recently. Had never heard of you before but saw some snippits of your dvd's. I brought the whole 7 and have watched every one over and over again. They are fantastic and was wondering if you will be doing any more trips in the near future. We have a forty foot coach that we are doing up now to travel around Australia and can't wait. I would like to leave a message for David. G'Day lads, love your DVD's , how is the progress on the latest DVD , l have all your other ones and have worn them out, can you say which area you are travelling to or do we have to wait for the release. I'm from Victoria and wondering if you are planning on a Victorian trip. We head to Murray river a lot fishing and are planning a tour covering 260kms of river and just had a thought that if you ever planned a trip down South, we could meet up on the river then you could do some river fishing with us catching metre cod for your footage on one of your movies! If you were thinking of heading to the Vic' high country to test the vans out in the snow, on the way past the Murray you could camp and do some footage and try an land a big Cod for your footage.
Meet our camp there for a night or what ever. Just a thought. You never now unless you ask!

.........thought l would just give you a bit of feedback on our trip l was talking to you about
on the Murray River, thought you might be interested. We ended up doing over 300 kms and seen some awesome country and sites along the way. The fishing was a bit quiet but we did end up getting a few cod ranging from 50 to 72cm in length. We had 6 boats and 8 guys with only the supplies we could fit into our boats. It was been a ambition of mine to do for years and would do it again tmoz. We ended up spending 7 days travelling the Murray enjoying a different camp site each night. We got to cross the SA / VIC border and the SA / NSW border on the river, we seen some massive cliff faces, passed many rivers and creeks that join the Murray , seen two old paddle steamer wrecks and amazing wildlife. It was just an amazing adventure. We took some video footage and plan to do another trip next year, we hope to get more sponsors on board and have more boats do the journey and maybe even collate a short DVD about the trip.
Four weeks after getting back the urge was still there to hook up to a good size Cod so l packed the gear and went back to the Murray as we try and do once a month were possible. First morning out l was lucky enough to hook up to a 60 pound plus monster, measuring in at 117cm, we took some photos and video footage and returned the giant back to the water for  someone else to hopefully enjoy the great experience!

Hi “Boys”: My wife and I purchased your 7 pack of DVDs at the Sydney Show on Sunday of last week – we have watched them over and over again – sometimes twice a night – and we are enthralled by your adventures and can’t wait to get away ourselves next year. Curiously I wanted to buy them when I came across your stand early on Sunday morning but my wife said it was too much money … we came back several times and each time I found her laughing at your antics – the snake on the fishing line got her in and when I asked, she agreed that we should buy. You know, she is now absolutely hooked. Having met some of you at the Show and now having watched the DVD’s we feel as though we know each one of you personally and having had a boy (I am 63) who couldn’t be told, I emphasize often with "the old man" in tight situations where the impetuousness of youth overtakes the wisdom of age. SYDNEY CARAVAN SHOW, SYDNEY SUPER SHOW 2009, THE GALL BOYS, KEDRON CARAVANS

G'day Guys 'n Girls. Well!....what can I say, while at the recent Sydney Caravan/Camping show I decided to drop by the Kedron stand to see what all the fuss is about after reading so much about them, well I was impressed to say the least, it was great to see the faces behind the vans so to speak. I'm not sure who the lady was that I spoke to, but A1 for service and the knowledge of the vans on display.While not quite in the market for that sort of van at the moment the info I obtained was certainly helpful for the future. Next time I'm up Brisbane way I'll for sure to drop by the factory/showroom. While at the show I also picked up all 7 DVD's + T-shirt. Well after watching all 7 I particularly like Fraser Coast + Far North Qld, but I can only say you guys are seriously nuts, in a good way of course. (LOL).
After hearing Tania Kernaghan's new song "Dad's not gonna  like it" can't help thinking it was really written about you guys.
Anyway that's about it for now, thanks again and keep up the great work.

Hey boy's, was lucky enough to fleece Glen at the Sydney show earlier this year and get all the video's (and a bit of other stuff) for a steal...I just want to say what a great job you blokes did putting them all together...have watched them all a couple of times and now they are doing the rounds between my dad and my silly brothers...so I'll probably never see them again!!! My 2 brothers' families and I, and mum and dad all have vans as well...so whenever we go somewhere together now it invariably turns into a bit of a "Gall Boys' adventure with us winding Dad up a fair bit. Finally, what jogged my memory to drop a line was the new Tania Kernigan song I just watched on Country Music Channel...have sent it to dad, so I can imagine it'll get a fair run as well.

Hi Glen, Just sending a quick email to you guys in thanks for the way Vanessa, myself and our two sons, Alexander and Ryan were treated by you guys(Gall Boys) at Brisbane’s Caravan and Camping show. I can tell you now that Alexander and Ryan were in awe meeting the men from the “Caravan Movies”and keep asking if we can go camping with them(mouths dropped when Dave leant down a spoke to them).Most children watch Bob the Builder or Dora the Explorer-not these boys,it’s the “Caravan Men” movies at our house. The signed t-shirts given to the boys were also a huge hit being worn to kindy a least twice a week,show and tell is showing off the shirts,stories of meeting you guys and that we also have a Kedron.See what you have created. So thanks guys for making our day at the show a memorable one and for the vision now implanted in my boys heads for caravanning adventures,something I couldn’t be happier about.

Guys, Please see attached for photos of my Son Thomas wearing the new shirt and beanie. We got home from the Caravan Show and he wanted to put on the shirt & Beanie straight away – shirt hasn’t been taken off since. He slept in it last night and all.
We dropped into a friends’s place on the way home from the show last night and Thomas made sure that he showed them the shirt and DVD’s that he was given. I purchased your DVD collection for my husband for his birthday and he has them playing from the time he wakes up till he goes to work and from the time he walks in the door of an afternoon till he goes to bed. I could understand if we just purchased them, but we got them in early November 07 and it is nearly the end of Jan 08 he is hanging out for the movie about to be released. Have you got the name of a good counsellor who would be able to help him. I have approached the subject several times but he insists that he is learning something new everytime, so when one day we go on our big adventure he will be prepared. I often hear him laughing in them, he finds some incidents quite funny and he says "Tania come and look at this" and i go in and to have a look but he has already previously shown me.

We have just watched your DVD of Cape York 2008, we were wondering what time of year you actually went as we travelled up to the top in July this year and the rivers were quite a bit higher especially the Jardine, we watched a group of vehicles try to cross at the old crossing but were unsuccessful and had water up to their windows.

We've been isolated here in the Isa with floodwaters for a while but levels are dropping and the road to Townsville is open again.  Whilst the creeks have had water in them we've been spending some days just sitting (and eating) in the water ... and a similar time de-bogging the poor old cruiser.  2 inches of solid crust and about 2 feet of soup necessitated to use of the snatch strap.

I purchased the 1st 5 from you around 3 years ago and was amazed with them, the quality of your vans and the genuine way they are filmed. Part of the reason I purchased the 1st 5 was because I was planning my own trip to Cape York, I researched through DVD, internet books and speaking to people who had done similar, and the DVD's were a great help, My partner and myself did the trip last year, we were on the Old Telegraph Track May 24, 25, 26 and 27 (also filmed much of it)and totaly loved the whole area and experience.
Anyway mate, I really just wanted to say thanks heaps for the entertainment in your DVD's, all 7, they are totally and thoroughly enjoyable and definately a real testement to the quality, integrity and workmanship built into your Kedron Caravans, I unfortunately dont own 1 but if I were to purchase another van I would not look past the Kedron.

Hi Glen, I know what it’s like trying to get back into it!! We had most on video which have been over-watched and need updating to DVD (my husband absolutely loves you guys the Cape York adventure in particular – a great laugh)!!!! Hubby has watched ALL the DVD’s now, good stuff! We did Fraser Island ourselves a couple years back with our camper it’s the most beautiful place, brought back some memories!! We are dying to do the cape trip!! We have an off road camper at the moment but in the future, when we are tired of it hubby wants to buy a Kedron – its on the list!!! Have you boys ever considered doing a trip/dvd to Kosciusko National Park plenty of interesting scenery and tracks? Just wondering!! Anyway Glen, keep those DVD’s coming!!

 My young family, Jeremy 4, Toby 3 and my wife Nic, have watched your movies countless times. Every time I watch them I seem to pick up something I have missed from previous viewings. We have found them both educational, very entertaining, and encouraging. On a recent trip to Cairns we took our cruiser for a run through the CREB, mind you, we left our camper back at Cairns. I guess I only have one question for you. When are you releasing your next movie?

Many thanks for my NQ Adventure DVD I was given when I met you at Slingshot on Gold Coast whilst you were there with family. It was a highlight of my trip, for as I already have the other 6 DVD's I firstly recognised the Kedron name of your tshirt then the face. Anyway was rapt to the back teeth and phoned my husband at home bragging that night. We had always thought Cape York as a future destination, but after a health scare 2 years ago will probably settle on a less adventurous journey and go along the Savannagh Way to Broome. Many thanks again, and keep puttin out the DVDs, they are much admired and envied. I live in a town called Dareton NSW which is over the border from Mildura in Victoria. Dareton is half way from Mildura to Wentworth NSW, where the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers.

Oliver ask me to tell you this is his 2nd, Jacks, 3rd and my 4th time there. The boys have been watching your Fraser island dvd in preperation for trip. Both Jack & Oliver loved the new dvd(so did I) we got from you at the Sydney show and can't what for the next adventure. We noticed you guys have also been back to Fraser for the Toyota fishing classic which looked great. Would love to get up there myself for that fishing comp. I hope you all make the trip down for next years Sydney show it would be great to catch up again and as Jack missed you this year and he would really like to meet you all.

Many thanks Glen. I received the DVD in the mail yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever received anything so fast in the mail before. I look forward to watching the DVD although as it is going to be a present I will have to wait a while yet.

Hi Glen, We sat down as a family on Saturday night and watched Far NQ and thoroughly enjoyed it, although my daughter did scream and close her eyes a couple of times when she thought the caravan was going to roll. It was also great to see that most of us don't listen to our fathers even when we know their right - your Dad was just priceless... We're looking forward to working our way through the rest of them. I must say, I'm hoping someone here has sent a copy to the Toyota guys in Japan - the footage is a great testament to the products. When I'm due to update my van, I'll definitely be up to have a look. Anyway, congratulations for a well produced DVD and best regards for future adventures.

Hi Glen. Last video you did to the Cape was very professional, good enough for television / foxtel etc. If you haven’t done as yet you should look at that. Everyone I have showed your video to has expressed how interesting it was and how good the photography was.

Hi Glen, It's amazing just how many people have or have seen your DVD's.
I was staying (tenting) at a van park in Lakes Entrance on Melbourne Cup weekend (ordinary weather all weekend), and had heaps of time to chat over a few beers to other people in the park (mostly caravanners) and many of them knew of or had some of the DVD's.

 Hi David, May I say in the nicest way possible that after viewing your adventure tapes, that you are a bloody idiot! However you would also be the best extreme off road driver I have ever seen (albeit by way of video) Your tapes have been the source of much interest in our household punctuated by loud shouts of b.......t at apropriate times- usually when attempting some seemingly impossible action with a van in tow. I am in awe of your old fashioned aussie style of never give up no matter how hard the "old man" tries to talk you out of something you are going to attempt. We have immensely enjoyed your tapes up to the present and are looking forward to further additions in the future.

Just a note to say thanks for the DVD`S you sent me . I posted the order the Friday before Christmas ,You signed the reciept on the 23rd and i recieved it at lunch time on the 24th ! i was amazed !

Gday Glen, I'd like to thank you for sending that thoughtfull gift pack for my father Brian just before Christmas.After we spoke on the friday before xmas bout 5pm i took a shower next thing i can faintly hear a knock on the door,i knew it could only be the courier so iv leaped out ov the shower grabed towel and strided for the door, the courier was reversing out ov the driveway, knowing this could be my only chance iv ran out and bailed him up, i think he thought i was a lunitic and so the neighbors. My girlfreind Rebecca wrapped it up cos i do dodgy wrapping,(i even get Rebecca to wrap up the gifts i buy her! ).Come xmas day after our lunch with the whole tribe(family) there, we opened our presents Bec and I saved the old mans to last,on the tag it wrote FROM THE GALL BOYS, he had a little laugh then opened it, he nearly went to water and could not believe that it really was from the gall boys, it was the highlite of the day for us all, he snuk off and came back wearing his shirt.From that day all we watched Kedron dvds ten times over, the family love em, thanks again Glen, Dad and Me are landcruiser men so we like when theyre pushed hard.

Hi Glen, Thanks so much for the DVDs and shirt (which my wife JJ proudly wore around yesterday).
We have been watching the shows non-stop all day yesterday as it was our day off.  Mate, they are brilliant! 
In fact I can’t wait until my mate shows up from BBC (Peter Crawford/David Attenborough fame) next Feb to show him.
The Far NQ trip was a test for you.  I am doing that one in Sep 09.  In fact most of those northern videos is where I am going on my year off. 
...so my hat is off to you guys, you do a great job.
Who knows Glen, we may catch up with you guys somewhere around Oz in the future...my beer is always plentiful and chilled.

Hi Guys, My husband and I just loved your DVD’s. We watched them back to back. Dave, I think you should be the person to test the brakability of any product! If you can’t brake it, no-one will! While we enjoyed watching all the outback and coastal adventures, we wondered why you had not yet taken the challenge to take on the Victorian High Country. My husband and I camp frequently and travel these areas which are very rugged and isolated. We even took our camper to Dargo a couple of years ago without a hitch. We have our trusty Nissan Patrol that have taken us on many an adventure. So come on guys, take up the challenge to tackle the Victorian High Country!

Hi Glen, Just a short note to let you know I received the Far NQ video and to express my thanks. WOW...what a beauty..even more challenging than the Cape York adventure. I didn't think that would be possible. I am sure you already know the impact this has on the viewer as to the quality and endurance of Kedron and of course Toyota. I will take these videos with me on my caravan trips and will show them to various people we encounter along the way.

Hi Glen, My wife Julie and I watched Far N.Q. Adventure last night and we loved it.
If I were to nominate segments for an award it would go something like this:
Best Comedy element.. Dad making the comment "Yeah, it's alright to have a plan. The plan could be to go across the water too" This was when Dave got bogged in the mud wanting to see the monument.
Then Dad say's the classic...."Ya can't tell Dave can ya" Not to be outdone was Dave's comment at Gunshot when he says "Dad's had enough, he doesn't want to talk to anyone"
Then there's the medical procedure element where the same poor fella was bitten by a centipede, followed not long after by surgery to remove a fishing lure from his arm.
The award for Drama goes to the whole team. We couldn't believe some of the river crossings. Especially remember Pascoe River Crossing. My wife made the comment that she thought I was crazy, but I'm happy to say that she now thinks I'm okay and you guys are crazy.
The award for cinematography goes to you guys. The still shots and video were fantastic.
Unbelievable what you guys can do with a 4X4 pulling a van under those conditions. Dave is a great driver. We remained focussed watching the credits to end whilst laughing uncontrollably at the funny bits. Loved the comment that was passed to one of the crew at the Sexchange Hotel when it was said the boys reckon you should go in for a beer and you'll come out a man.
