THE DVDs

Well before any of our adventure films were even thought of, and like so many others, we grew up with Toyotas.

It was only natural that these were to be the vehicles for the trips.

We've had a long association with them on a personal level, and only lately have we met some of the people behind the product.

Pretty much our whole association with Toyota began with Karl Booysen from our local Sci Fleet dealership.

In 1998 we called him up and said we had it in mind to do a trip over to the Kimberley region to video a caravan adventure.

With no real plan in place, or even a detailed outline, he still showed great confidence to take a chance, enthusiastically backing the idea, and off the ball rolled from there........

We have over time now formed a great working relationship with them, as to do any trip with a van, the reliability, back-up, availablity of parts, and legalities on tow weights all come into play with the choice of tow-vehicles.

Working with Toyota, we've never had any spotter's fees, instead happy to just recommend them to customers with confidence.

We do still have a proportion of other brands used by our customers to pick up their vans which is all good, but the majority without doubt do have the bull-horn emblem resting on the grill.

It has been really good to have worked together with the Toyota Motor Corp crew, and build great relationships with them also.

Throughout our trips, we've used a great range of models, including Lancruiser 80' series - 100' series - Prado's and the latest with a 78' (now 76') series wagon.

There'll be those passionate about other brands of vehicles, which is definitely a good thing also.

We're just comfortable in having so much confidence in them to have as our preferred choice for at work, on trips and at home.

As with many others.............
